# Restore archived events

> Queues a restore of archived audit events in a time range, so they show up in the list again. The range must start within the last 365 days and must overlap archived data.

Restore needs a plan that includes it. Some restores are free each month; others charge `feeCents`.

**Required permission:** `audit:read` and `settings:write`
